The Electric Color Series
This series begins in the black and white darkroom using a process known as a photogram. In the darkroom I manipulate objects using a variety of filters and dodging techniques to enhance the shape of the image and maximize the ability of the light to reflect and refract out of the glass.
The Tao of Equus Series
As a horse lover, artist, and equestrian, I have been amazed by horses since I was 12. Horses are such wonderful creatures to connect with...but that connection really has to be experienced to be understood. For me the movements performed within the framework of dressage showcase the elegance of the horse to its full advantage. Influenced by my connection with horses and background as a graphic designer, my latest series is a study of the "Tao of Equus" or "Way of the Horse".
